Bearded Face Productions invites Outer Banks residents and visitors to enjoy rock and roll, funk and blues at Mike Dianna’s Grill Room in Corolla at the Mustang Spring Jam 7 on Sunday, May 20, 2018 and the first annual Mustang Rock and Roast October 13-14, 2018.
This fun food festival event features: wine tastings, cooking classes, special multi-course menu presentations, brewery tours, tapas crawls, cook-offs and more. There really is something for everyone! It’s four days of foodie heaven and lots of fun activities on the Outer Banks.
Stroll along enchanted garden paths and discover the joy of the season with holiday lights, sights and sounds transforming The Elizabethan Gardens into an illuminated winter wonderland. The radiant glow of the gardens, traditional holiday décor and fantastical displays are a true spectacle to behold.
The Currituck Beach Lighthouse, Whalehead in Historic Corolla, and the residents of Corolla are planning a Trunk or Treat event for Creepy in Corolla again this year. Children from all over are invited to visit the Historic Corolla Village for Trick or Treating on Halloween, Tuesday, October 31, 2017, from 6:00-8pm. Adults and businesses are invited to be the "Trunks" again this year for our second annual event!
Flying kegs, a beer garden featuring over 20 local and regional beers, kids zone featuring arts and crafts and a mechanical shark, live music, local food vendors … you can’t ask for much more! OBX Brewtag is presented by Kitty Hawk Kites, The Outer Banks Visitors Bureau, and BrewThru with the proceeds benefitting The Rogallo Foundation. This third annual only-on-the-OBX celebration of flight and beer is not to be missed!
Outer Banks Seafood Festival is a fun and educational experience promoting, honoring and celebrating the area's seafood heritage and community. The festival offers opportunities to meet Outer Banks watermen and see the tools of their trade, including boats, crab pots and pound nets.
The Town of Duck brings jazz to the Duck Town Park annually on Columbus Day weekend. Enjoy live music from a variety of jazz performers beginning on Saturday, October 7, 2017 which continues on Sunday, October 8 with a full day of performances on two stages at this non-ticketed festival.

This event will include children’s activities, a bounce house, and features a special children’s tour of Whalehead, the “Joan’s Way Tour” as well as other fun activities. The Joan’s Way Tour begins at 3:00pm and the cost is $5.00. This tour is limited to 30 children. Please reserve your spot in advance.

The Currituck Cornhole Tournaments will start Wednesday, May 31st and run the same dates as Whalehead Wednesday. Teams will be able to pre-register for each week’s game as well as sign-up the day of. Registration will be from 3pm to 4pm on Wednesday at Historic Corolla Park. The games will start at 4pm to 7pm. Cost will be $10 person/$20 team. Only teams will be able to register. This year will be double elimination with a limit of 32 teams. Players will have to use our bags…. Each week winners and runners up will receive a prize from Currituck Travel & Tourism. And, at the end of the season, all first prize winners will be entered into a drawing for a fabulous grand prize… a beach vacation donated by Brindley Beach!
